Incredible video of a 1940’s russian lab where a dogs head has been chopped off and kept alive by a simple mechanism. The head responds like a normal dog (tongue moves out, blinks – but no barking cause there’s no lungs)! No body! Jump to 5:35 for the head part. This made me sicker than sick.

This is in no way a great film, but this movie really got a hold of me. It's something more than just jokes and thought, it's dark when it needs to be, satirical and vulgar at times. But the weird thing is that it all felt special, like a perfect cult film. Everything just felt right.

The opening scene was powerful, the rest of the movie was one overly melodramatic scene, but the surprisingly dramatic wow-effect of the ending hugely makes up for it. Go see.
