Russian scientists keep a dogs chopped off head alive

September 8th, 2006

Only for people with a strong stomach.
Incredible video of a 1940’s russian lab where a dogs head has been chopped off and kept alive by a simple mechanism. The head responds like a normal dog (tongue moves out, blinks - but no barking cause there’s no lungs)! No body! Jump to 5:35 for the head part. This made me sicker than sick.
