Blogmusik – online music on demand
It’s an online music service that unlike Pandora and Last.fm plays music on demand in a little flash player.
Basically a rip off of the Ipod interface which the Apple people aren’t gonna like. I’m pretty sure they’ll get a lawsuit on their hands if this gets any more popular.
- It’s still a little buggy, something wrong with the next button, which is totally understandable cause it’s still in beta.
- The site is very fast. It’s running php with a MySQL database backend. The player runs in Flash and not Ajax, as some people declare(this guy changed his mind as you’ll read in the comments section).
- Sound quality is a little poor, but alright for a free online music service.
- Large music collection but needs more indie stuff in my opinion
- Needs some kind of tagging or whatever. You got song titles with track numbers in between, song titles with all caps on. Some kind of sorting option would be nice too.
All this site really needs to get big is something original.
This service seems to be running somewhere in France. Their blog does not give many details on where or who they are from. Though I ask myself the question on how legal this service is.
Pandora and Last.fm are music services that play songs based on your musical preference, but this plays on demand and you can create playlists. Basically it can replace someones mp3 collection and media player. I guess time will tell.

Dumbass? Thanks.
If you would have checked my post again, you would have seen that I made the correction about AJAX verses Flash controls once I did more looking into the application.
Anyway, thanks for the link and for what it’s worth, you have a decent site.
