Firefox 2- Rediscover the Web

I’ve been using the beta builds for a while, but the Mozilla corporation just released version 2 of their next generation browser Firefox.
Major changes for me are:

  • Spell checking: I guess you guys will expect perfectly written blog posts now.
  • Session restore: Restores tabs when starting firefox, now I don’t need an extension for that either.
  • Other UI changes, looks and feels a little better, not noticeable.

I personally like the browser for the customizability (that isn’t even a word according to firefox).
Because it’s open-source, people can create applications based on Firefox, like Flock which is a browser with build in blogging client, RSS reader, Flickr manager. And of course the extensions, that I couldn’t live without.
