Highly anticipated lo-fi artist How To Dress Well brought this suiting footage of late great Belgian singer/songwriter Jacques Brel. It’s a climax in 1971 film Franz, but works just as well here.
I’m lovin the jazz infused electronica of Spirituals‘ debut a lot, but this cutting and stitching remix is glorious.
Even though retro is the new cool, I really enjoy the song and visuals. As Q-Tip says best “Keep it funky y’all”, as he does.
Astounding piece of imagination (and not forget sci-fi logic). Nolan is a master at creating suspense and never breaking away from that bomb-rushing moment. I do think it could have been beneficial if the movie was a half hour shorter or there was more character development, but I really was blown away.
It’s a little easy to evoke emotion when almost a whole Sigur Rós album is playing in the background. Despite that, it’s a good parenting film, but there just isn’t anything in it for me.
