You might remember this Pakistani Briton girl, better known as Natasha Khan, from the 2007 haunting What’s a Girl to Do? video and her impressive debut Fur and Gold.
With her moniker Bat for Lashes she’s prepping for the release of her follow-up, ‘Two Suns’ out April.
I’m stoked, first single and video for “Daniel” makes a very good first impression. It’s joyous and sad with a little tribute to Daniel-san otherwise known as ‘The Karate Kid’.
Spot on compared to Kate Bush, she’s already getting hyped to the bone. Rightfully so, she’s desirably graceful, tells great stories, has a hazy voice and a dark undertone.
